Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer:
- Design and develop electrical and avionics systems for aerospace, automotive and maritime applications, and ensure seamless integration into the system.
- Design electrical systems to ensure compliance with the relevant safety and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively alongside other engineering teams on the project such as Mechanical, Software and RF Engineers.
- Generate and review technical documentation, as well as conducting regular technical reviews on the project.
- Report to line managers and directors and update regularly.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the Electrical Engineer:
- A degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical engineering or related STEM field, ideally at 2:1 or above.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly advantageous.
- Experience in producing technical reports and documentation.
- Understanding of electrical systems, avionics and power systems as well as regulatory compliance (eg. CAA/EASA regulations)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Proficiency in computer and mathematical modelling software such as MATLAB, CAD etc, as well as other electrical design tools.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with a variety of departments and specialties.
- Ability to work to deadlines and meet required standards.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
