Project Officer - App Development

Job Description

Dutton Recruitment are seeking a Project Officer for work on an in-development App, designed to serve Care workers.

We are representing a local authority, who have been awarded funding from the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF) to develop an App to support unpaid carers living in the region. Following the selection of the APP developer, this post will support the Carers Strategy Manager to manage the project to its completion.

Reporting to the Carers Strategy Manager, the post holder will:

• Be the point of contact between the APP developer, the ARF South Yorkshire cohort and the Commissioning Team.
• Work alongside the other South Yorkshire partners to ensure the successful outcome of the project.
• Lead the co-production of the APP content with a range of stakeholders, including unpaid carers.
• Maintain a project plan and risk log, and monitor the performance of project activity, milestones, outcomes and outputs, thereby maximising project efficiency and efficacy.
• Uphold high levels of customer service to individuals engaged with the project, building good working relationships to successfully complete the project.
• Advise and challenge project stakeholders on agreed timescales, priorities, and deadlines.
• Produce and update reports for the Directorate Senior Leaders.
