Gas engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a commercial gas engineer to carry out PPM's, servicing and breakdowns on commercial boilers with the potential to grow within the company. Job responsibilities: ● Commercial boiler servicing and repairs ● Commercial gas installation and repairs ● CP17 certificates ● Reactive maintenance work ● Reporting of jobs on job management system Essential to the role: ● Hold current commercial gas ACS qualifications ● At least 5 years’ experience on the job knowledge ● Boiler breakdown and servicing experience ● Able to cover out of hours call outs on 1 in 6 rota ● Good understanding of plumbing and heating systems ● Own tools and UK driving licence ● Good standard of work and attention to detail ● Reliable, trustworthy, professional, self-motivated, strong communicator and the ability to work on own initiative ● Domestic knowledge (Preferred, not required) Benefits to the job: ● Company van and fuel card ● Company uniform and analyser ● Day holiday gained on each year of service ● Materials and consumables supplied ● Overtime on evening and weekends ● Part of a friendly team and growing business ● Progression and growth through the company Job Type: Full-time Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year Additional pay: ● Bonus scheme ● Loyalty bonus ● Performance bonus Benefits: ● Company pension Schedule: ● Monday to Friday ● Overtime Experience: ● commercial: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: ● Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: On the road
