Professional Status-MRICS – Chartered Status is a preferred requirement for this senior level role. Our clients are members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Qualifications -A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Background - In addition, experience with a Cost Consultancy organisation in the UK. Our client is open to candidates who wish to relocate from another part of the UK, to the London area, as well as candidates already based in the area. Sector Experience -Our client is involved in  Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Leisure and Entertainment, Retail, Education General Experience - A Strong understanding of Cost Management and circa 10+ years post qualification ( post degree) experience. As well as the ability to manage complex budgets and financial cost plans and liaise with clients contractors and consultants. Reporting- The role will report to the partner of the London office and take responsibility for leading supporting and mentoring junior members of the team Driving Licence- Full clean Driving Licence there will be an element of travel for this senior level position. Computer Skills- Familiar with Cost Management software such as CostX, CAD Measure etc as well as proficiency in Word Excel Outlook etc Person Skills- The ability to work as part of a successful team with a motivated and productive attitude. Manage tender document taking off process, feasibility, cost plans, cashflows, budgets and reporting Manage Risk: in conjunction with stakeholders and the project team, lead the identification, evaluation, communication, avoidance and recording of project Risk. Understand the scope of service requirements and deliver in accordance with the Quality plan as well as management of change process Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyor and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Where required, to act as an APC Supervisor, Counsellor or Mentor. Visit sites, chair meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and other professionals, undertake site inspections and reviews, prepare accurate records of such visits and associated actions, follow up actions as required to achieve required results. Manage and develop client relationships. Identify opportunities and develop initiatives to grow our clients services. Contribute to the strategic development of the business and the Quantity Surveying service line. Undertake such other activities as may be required to fulfil the requirements of the role. Salary & Benefits Quantity Surveying - Associate Director London This is a permanent full time position based in our clients London (EC) offices.
