Job Title: Internal Site Manager

Location: Wandsworth, South London

Rate: £300 per day

Job Overview:


We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Site Manager to join our team on a residential project of approximately 50 units based around the Wandsworth, South London area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all internal works on-site, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained and the project is delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of internal fit-out works, with a particular focus on residential building projects.

As the Internal Site Manager, you will oversee the internal finishes, including drylining, painting, flooring, kitchen and bathroom installations, and ensure that all works meet client and company standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Internal Site Manager to join a reputable company with a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all internal fit-out works, ensuring high-quality finishes across all 50 units.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors for drylining, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, and final finishes.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Enforce and maintain health & safety regulations on site.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and external contractors to ensure seamless delivery of internal works.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and address any on-site issues.
  • Carry out quality checks, snagging, and handovers for each phase of the internal works.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and site diaries.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Internal Site Manager within residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of internal works, including drylining, painting, flooring, and M&E installations.
  • Experience managing the fit-out of residential developments of a similar size (50+ units).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and building regulations.
  • Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to project challenges.
