Worker killed after scaffold fall in Skegness

A construction worker has been killed after falling from scaffolding on a building site in Skegness, Lincolnshire.

It is thought 26-year-old Justin Gillman had been pushing a wheelbarrow across the scaffold, about 2m off the ground, when he fell from the structure. He was also hit by falling bricks from the wheelbarrow.

The Health and Safety Executive has started an investigation into the man's death.

The incident occurred on Friday, local police have said.

It is understood Gillman had been working for housebuilder Chestnut Homes.
