The acquisition gives Eurovia a presence the Indian infrastructure sector. NAPC was founded 60 years ago and is mainly active in the areas of road construction, earthworks and civil engineering, as well as the development of industrial zones and airports. It is part of the concession consortium for the Chennai ring road project.
Revenues generated by NAPC in 2011 were some 600 crores of rupees, or approximately £73m.
