Headquartered in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Dougfield Plumbers Supplies generated £9m revenue last year from 10 branches across south Wales and southwest England.
Cairngorm Capital has been growing its IBMG business through acquisitions, including Parker Building Supplies in 2018 and Chandlers Building Supplies in 2019. Backed by Cairngorm, the original Parker business has grown from 15 branches and revenues of £67m, to 39 branches and revenues of more than £200m.
Separately, Cairngorm bought High Wycombe-based Grant & Stone in November 2019, which was then used to acquire 3Counties in Buckinghamshire, CRS Building Supplies, Rawle Gammon & Baker (RGB), Buildit and Total Plumbing Supplies. In less than two years Grant & Stone grew from 29 branches and revenues of £100m to 84 branches and £300m revenues.

Dougfield Plumbers Supplies was founded in 1993 by Doug Field. It has branches in Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Exeter, Saltash, St Austell, Penryn, Bridgend, Barry, Treforest and Swansea.
