Andrew English joins Atkins from Australian construction group John Holland, where he was executive general manager for its infrastructure operations.
He has previously worked for Balfour Beatty and Skanska, where roles included managing director of Skanska UK’s infrastructure division.
At Atkins, he replaces Jason Pavey, who had been interim managing director of the transportation division since the departure of Lizi Stewart at the end of 2021. She is now chief executive of Core Highways Group. Jason Pavey is now managing director for Atkins operations & maintenance in Europe (including the UK).
