The Extra Care Charitable Trust has selected Galliford Try to build the 212-apartment Bournville Gardens village.
Work is expected to start on site in June 2013 with completion planned for the summer of 2015.
Bournville Gardens will be the fifth scheme that Galliford Try has delivered for Extra Care, including the Hagley Road village that is currently under construction in Birmingham and expected to be fully open in the autumn.
Galliford Try Partnerships has also reached financial close on the 765 Finchley Road project in North London on behalf of housing association Affinity Sutton. The £15.8m contract involves the construction of 80 mixed tenure homes and commercial units.
Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: "These two contracts demonstrate the excellence that our Partnerships business provides in the care and affordable housing sectors. We are delighted to be furthering our relationships with both Extra Care and Affinity Sutton and look forward to working with them to create the communities their customers deserve."
