Work on the Bill Snyder Family Stadium is expected to begin this summer and be completed in time for the football season in the fall of 2013.
The renovated stadium will include improvements such as a new dining hall, a shop, upgraded media faciliities and new premium seating areas.
“Mortenson’s track record of success on sports projects, an expert project team and enhanced use of VDC/BIM [virtual design construction/building information modelling] will ensure delivery of this complex renovation project with no impact to the exciting game day experience at K-State,” said Derek Cunz, vice president at Mortenson Construction.
