Engcon announces new tiltrotator

28 Apr 17 Engcon is set to launch its most powerful tiltrotator yet, a new model for excavators up to 33t.

Engcon head of R&D Fredrik Jonsson said: "The EC233 comes ready for ePS – engcon Positioning System – which means it will be able to sync with various excavator guidance systems for maximum efficiency. Standard equipment includes tilt cylinders fitted with load-holding valves and a Q-Safe quick hitch for maximum safety.”

The EC233 also includes a central lubrication system for ease of maintenance, a 45° tilt angle designed to provide best access and flexibility, and a cast body and heavy-duty shaft journals for extended service life.

This is is Engcon's most powerful tiltrotator yet, added Jonsson. “It uses the latest technology and we have great confidence in the model as it was tested to the limit on big machines during the Swedish winter of 2016/2017.”

The EC233 will debut at the Plantworx in Leicestershire in early June 2017. The first of the pilot models will begin deliveries during the autumn with series roll-out anticipated in the new year.
