It has been expanding its elevator business in China and other Asian countries, India, and the Middle East in recent years and has considered entering the European lift market - which accounts for over 30% of the global share - for some time.
Temple's lift business was founded in 1989 and the company currently has about 5,000 maintenance contracts.
