The 30,000 sq ft purpose-built facility on the Aztec Business Park is a hub for the group’s activities in the southwest and Wales.
The existing Bristol branch has closed and all operations relocated to the new larger ‘supercentre’.
The new facility is in line with HSS’s strategy of moving away from small high street branches to large out of town stores.
HSS Hire chief executive Chris Davies said: “At HSS, we’re committed to offering our customers more safety, availability, value and support, and as part of this commitment, we’ve made some significant investments in our logistical and operational platforms over the past year that have enabled the transformation of our entire national network.
“The new facility in Bristol will enable us to deliver a bigger and better service to our customers across the southwest and Wales as well as supporting our wider UK activity.”
