Machinery investment for Statom

2 days Civil engineering contractor Statom Group has invested £4m in new Kobelco machinery.

London-based Statom has bought 48 Kobelco excavators from distributor Molson.

With delivery across September and October, the purchase ranges from the SK30SR-6E and SK50SRX-7 mini excavators, throught he mid-size SK85MSR-7 and SK140SRLC-7 up to the 22-tonne SK210LC-11E.

Strickland Manufacturing is supplying all the excavator buckets.

Statom Group plant director Mark Albon said: “Particularly on larger projects, clients are focusing closely on their environmental impact. To meet these needs, as well as our own sustainability goals, we don’t just take steps to protect nature and prevent pollution on-site, we work with partners like Molson Equipment that have the equipment and aftersales expertise to support both our sustainability and operational goals.”
