Located on the existing Woodhill Primary School site, the new building will replace the existing Auchinairn Primary, Woodhill Primary and Cleddens Learning and Childcare Centre.
On completion, the two-storey building will serve around 560 pupils and 145 pre-school children.
The new school is part of the council’s primary school improvement programme (PSIP). Morgan Sindall was appointed by Hub West Scotland, East Dunbartonshire Council’s development partner responsible for managing the development. Hub West Scotland is a public private joint venture organisation established to develop property for its public sector partners.
