The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is the umbrella group for the professional institutions of the industry. It is the forum where architects, engineers and surveyors all get together.
Its leaders felt a new logo was needed to better reflect what the organisation represents.
As can be seen below, the new logo essentially turns the old one on its side, adds a bit of green, and includes the slogan ‘built environment professions together’ in block capitals.

CIC chief executive Graham Watts said of the new logo: “It’s fresh, vibrant, colourful; works well on a range of platforms and yet remains true to that collaborative ideal that will continue to sustain the CIC and its members for many more years.”
