The QH440 track-mounted cone crusher, aimed at aggregate producers, can process material of up to 215 cm and is capable of producing up to 388t per hour.

The machine is designed for ease of mobility, transportation and quick set up time, which makes it adaptable to reach the most remote areas within and outside the quarry, Sandvik says.

The QH440 comes with a choice of six different crushing chambers, ranging from fine to extra course, paired with eight different bush settings ranging from 16mm to 44mm. The product shape and grading can be adjusted by changing the throw to ensure the machine provides the right quality and quantity of material required.

The other new machines is the QI440, a purpose-built tracked impact crusher designed to process aggregate and construction materials on site.

The QI440 is designed to deliver throughputs from 300t to 350t per hour in materials including granite, slate, limestone, brick and asphalt and is suitable for a wide variety of many applications such as secondary or fine crushing of softer rocks and in various demolition and recycling applications.

Powered by a 330kW C-13 Tier 3 diesel engine, the QI440 is carried on a manoeuvrable tracked undercarriage and incorporates a Sandvik CI322 impactor with a fluid clutch drive. The crusher is a four-hammer open-style rotor with a diameter of 1,150mm and a width of 1,330mm, and discharges onto a secondary pan feeder. The plant is also equipped with a primary feeder and a separate two-deck pre-screen.

The QI440 has an operating weight of 49.8t and is 15.5m long in transport configuration, making it transportable in a single load. Optional equipment includes a remote diesel and water pump, an overband magnet for recycling and demolition applications, and a dolly chassis for ease of transport.
