Nixon Hire will take delivery of more than 150 Loadall telehandles during the course of 2015.
The machines have lift heights ranging from seven to 17 metres. They are powered by the JCB Ecomax engine, which meets EU Stage IIIB emissions regulations without resorting to the use of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) or exhaust after-treatment fluids.
The new telehandlers will be deployed around Nixon’s network of 14 depots, including its new Glasgow depot, which opened at the start of the year.
Managing director Graham Nixon said: “JCB is one of the industry’s leading brands and one that is in high demand from our customers. It is important for us to supply equipment that end users know and trust. JCB Loadall telescopic handlers particularly appeal for their high level of safety features, familiarity for end users and strong resale value. JCB has been the preferred supplier for Nixon Hire telehandlers since 2006. We have a strong relationship with our local dealer, Scot JCB, which has an extensive network which mirrors and supports ours effectively.”
