Norfolk steelwork contractor in administration

27 Feb 14 Ninety jobs have been lost at DGT Structures, based in Lenwade, near Norwich after the company went into administration.

Chris Williams and Andrew McTear from insolvency practice McTear Williams & Wood were appointed joint administrators for DGT Structures Ltd on Friday 21 February.

DGT Structures specialises in the manufacture and supply of structural steelwork as well as roofing, cladding and integrated facades.

Joint administrator Chris Williams said: “We can confirm that a number of DGT contracts are currently being completed which will improve the position for creditors, and that 29 staff have been retained to assist with this process. Unfortunately, 90 DGT staff have had to be made redundant. The administrators arranged for all weekly wages to be paid on Friday 21 February 2014.”

He added: “Anyone interested in all or part of the business should contact us immediately on 01603 877540. We already know of a number of interested parties and will be talking to them straight away with the aim of agreeing a sale of DGT’s business and assets shortly.”
