Based in Pemberton, Wigan, Norwest Plant will supply machines from Terex Construction’s Coventry operation, including site dumpers, backhoe loaders and rollers.
Norwest Plant is already the Doosan and Bobcat dealer for North Wales, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire, with a full parts shop.
General manager Jonathan Campbell said: “Terex is a globally-renowned company, whose market-leading products complement what we already offer our customers. We are delighted to be working with such a key brand in the construction equipment sector and adding their machinery to our already strong portfolio of products.”
Paul Macpherson, sales and marketing director at Terex Construction’s Coventry facility, added: “Norwest Plant’s sister company, Sleator Plant, has been part of the Terex Construction distributor network for the past few years, retailing compact equipment across Northern Ireland. The company has provided outstanding support to Terex end-customers and has been successful in increasing availability within the fleets of leading hire companies, providing an even more customer-focused approach.
“Adding Norwest Plant to our UK distributor network was therefore a simple decision. In fact, with such extensive experience, we’re confident that the company will play an important role in Terex Construction’s continued national growth.”
