Polystorm-R was developed in response to the increasing demand for environmentally efficient products. Polypipe WMS decided to widen its range of sustainable solutions and invested in two years of research and development to ensure that Polystorm-R’s performance enhanced the company’s existing offering and exceeded customers’ requirements.
The new Polystorm-R modular cell is produced from carefully researched and selected recycled materials to provide an environmentally-friendly solution to surface water drainage and storage applications. Meeting the same performance criteria as Polystorm, Polystorm-R has a 40 tonne per square metre compression strength and is ideal for light trafficked and pedestrian applications.

Forming part of Polypipe WMS’ extensive range of SUDS products, Polystorm-R is the fourth product development within the Polystorm modular cell range. This development now enables Polypipe WMS to offer the widest range of modular cell systems to the construction industry based on varying project requirements – trafficked (Polystorm), non-loaded (Polystorm Lite) and heavily-trafficked (Polystorm Xtra).
Polystorm-R has undergone the same stringent testing as Polypipe WMS’ other BBA approved modular cells and the product’s certification is currently pending.

Polystorm-R offers the same proven benefits as Polystorm, Polystorm Lite and Polystorm Xtra. Each cell weighs just 9.6 kg and is easy to handle, store and install. Due to its modular construction, Polystorm-R can be designed and installed to overcome almost any site constraint. The system can also be specified as a standalone soakaway or attenuation structure, or integrated with other Polystorm cells as a hybrid SUDS solution.
