Construction work is scheduled to begin in mid-April 2012 and Prater will develop and deliver hot melt roofing to a concrete base and a single ply membrane including a metal deck onto which a green roof will be installed.
In terms of the facades for the school, this will involve flat composite cladding, a PPC Rainscreen system and a Corten Rainscreen system onto a propriety carrier system. A Soffit cladding system will also be installed.
"Prater has over 10 years knowledge and experience in the education sector. We are delighted to have been appointed the contract for the New Eastwood High School and look forward to getting work underway," commented Andy Newman, Business Development Director at Prater.
