Construction value is expected to be £18.1m for the library and £21.3m for the accommodation building. The latter will comprise 381 bedrooms and 965m2 of non-residential space that will include a conference facility.
The buildings will be in a parkland setting on the university’s Digby Stuart Campus, visible from Roehampton Lane.
“The university aspires to creating two high quality designs that are appropriate to and enhance the setting,” it says.
