The designs were shown as part of a larger announcement outlining the city’s plans agree terms to build a new stadium for the Chargers team.
The multipurpose stadium would be capable of hosting professional and amateur sports, entertainment, cultural and commercial activities.
The proposed design includes public space, a fan park, corporate hospitality venues and landscaped promenades. It would be built on a 166-acre site at Mission Valley site and could be adapted to host a Super Bowl.
