Paul Pedini will serve as vice president of operations and regional manager of the new office. He will also be the technical leader in BIM and 3D constructability reviews and in analysis techniques. Prior to joining Skanska, he served as senior vice president and New England regional manager at Dragados USA.

Skanska’s work throughout Greater Boston has included the Central Artery Project, State Street Financial Center, the Battery Wharf Hotel & Residences and Terminal A at Logan International Airport, which is the country’s first LEED-certified airport terminal. Current projects include its management of the Novartis Campus expansion project in Cambridge and the Harvard Art Museums’ expansion and renovation project, as well as the Fore River Bridge replacement and Longfellow Bridge rehabilitation projects for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

“New England’s combination of historic infrastructure and growing population make it a robust market for infrastructure growth,” said Pedrini. “Beefing up our personnel in this market allows us to provide the Boston area with the advanced civil engineering expertise it needs to improve its infrastructure and help the area continue to thrive.”
