Client for the scheme is the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens Vegvesen). Skanska had already won contracts on earlier phases of the upgrading of the E18.
The latest contract involves widening an existing section to four lanes. The assignment covers new southbound lanes and upgrades for northbound traffic.
Work will start this month and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2014.
