The work also includes demolition of the existing bridge, which crosses Telford Railway Station, the A442 dual carriageway and the Rampart Way dual carriageway.
The project has an estimated total value of £7m. It is one of the two main elements of the Telford town centre connectiviity package; the other is the dualling of Hall Park and Rampart Way.
