The contractors will take on refurbishment and new build work.
Thurrock Council is planning to spend approximately £75m over the next four years on both internal and external refurbishment and improvements works to existing homes. The programme of works includes new kitchens, bathrooms, boilers, windows, wiring and insulation.
The value of works for the council’s new build developments is estimated to be between £160m and £200m over the next four years. New build developments will vary from small infill sites of around two to four properties to a bigger development of approximately 100 flats. School building projects in the borough could also use the framework.
