Travis Perkins shuffles leadership

19 Jan 23 The departure of Kieran Griffin has prompted a management reshuffle at builders’ merchant group Travis Perkins.

After 28 years with the business, Kieran Griffin, currently managing director of Travis Perkins General Merchant, has decided to leave – ‘to explore new opportunities’, the company said.

To replace him, James Mackenzie, currently managing director of Toolstation UK, will move across to be managing director of the Travis Perkins General Merchant business.

BSS managing director Angela Rushforth will take over from James Mackenzie as managing director of Toolstation UK.

The changes take effect from March 1st 2023.

Chief executive Nick Roberts said: “I am delighted to confirm these appointments from our experienced management team and the opportunity this brings to drive further  collaboration and innovation opportunities across the group.  I am really looking forward to working with James and Angela in their new roles and extend our thanks to Kieran for the contribution he has made over many years in the group.”
