The new LC3000 Series consists of models 30 LC 1100 and 30 LC 1450, which are each available in three versions with maximum load capacities of 32, 48 and 64 tonnes.
The crane is so big that it is only practical for Comansa to exhibit one mast section and one jib section at the fair.
The D56 mast sections (pictured below) are 4 metres wide and 5.5 metres high. They allow LC3000 cranes to reach freestanding heights up to 88.8m. When combined with a new section, called D66, they can reach a freestanding height of 108m.
The 3AM640 is the jib first section of the 30 LC 1450 crane. It is 10m-long and 6m-high.
Linden, when it was a Swedish company, and before Comansa of Spain took it over, pioneered the flat-top concept for tower cranes, removing the A-frame cat-heads usually seen on saddle jib cranes.
