The services which are being procured as part of this Procurement are to provide transportation of Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) materials as instructed by the Council.

Lincolnshire County Council is the statutory Waste Collection Authority in Lincolnshire. The Council operates Household Waste Recycling Centres in Lincoln, Market Rasen and Gainsborough.

Households bring and deposit their waste at the HWRCs.The Contract is for the transportation of material from the HWRCs to disposal point sites. The Supplier shall tip the material at the disposal site, then transport the empty container to the HWRC or a separate Drop-Off Point.
