Volvo CE’s updated articulated hauler lineup runs from the 25-tonne payload A25 to the 55-tonne A60 truck.

New to the series is the A50 (pictured above), with a 45-tonne and 27.8 cubic metre capacity.

According to the Swedish manufacturer, it delivers 10% more productivity and 8% greater fuel efficiency compared to the previous generation A45GFS model.

It is claimed to be the only full suspension machine on the market of its size class. As a result, it offers a dramatic improvement in cycle times, an increase in hauler production per operator hour and lower costs when compared to its standard suspension counterparts.

Volvo further claims: “It delivers unrivalled traction and stability thanks to the Volvo drivetrain with Terrain Memory, while the Volvo Dynamic Drive feature, with its predictive gear selection, offers improved comfort and fuel efficiency. The new Volvo transmission and axles also generate greater power and productivity across daily operations.”
