Located in Washington, Tyne & Wear, Snorkel’s 23,000m2 (250,000 ft2) manufacturing facility assembles a wide range of Snorkel lifts, which benefit from Snorkel’s industry-leading dual-coat powder paint finish for maximum durability. Every Snorkel lift is engineered around its “Keep it Simple” philosophy; robust and reliable lifts that are easy to use, simple to service and with low-cost spare parts. This means Snorkel lifts have a long and productive life, delivering low total ownership costs and great ROI for customers. All Snorkel lifts come backed with a two-year parts & labour and five-year structural warranty.

Environmentally Sound

To meet increasing demand for cleaner and quieter equipment — particularly in urban and residential areas — Snorkel has taken a leadership role in developing a range of battery-powered alternatives to existing diesel-powered lifts. Utilizing highly efficient and low-maintenance lithium-ion batteries, Snorkel has replaced the diesel engine on a number of its mid-sized rough-terrain scissor lifts, speed level models, and a compact rough-terrain telehandler, with the first electric mid-size articulated boom lift joining the family in spring of 2022. The lithium-ion battery-powered units can be used indoors and outdoors, come equipped with powerful 4-wheel-drive performance, and deliver multiple benefits such as significantly reduced running costs, zero emissions, zero dust generation and low noise — up to 62% less noise than a diesel equivalent.

Innovative and Cutting-Edge

Snorkel is also the only aerial lift manufacturer to offer the S2255RT and S2755RT narrow rough-terrain scissor lifts. Available with a choice of diesel, lithium-ion battery, or bi-energy power sources, these powerful 4-wheel-drive lifts measure just 1.45m wide, meaning they can be used in confined spaces such as between industrial units for cladding applications where scaffolding would traditionally have been used. These lifts are also lightweight and the diesel and lithium-ion versions can be towed between jobsites on a trailer at 3,5T GVW.
