Quantity Surveyor
East London
£30,000 - £45,000 Basic + Training + Progression + development + Bonus + Great package + Immediate start
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant looking to take the next step to Quantity Surveyor! You'll be working within the roofing sector, working on some of the most prestigious projects across London, and enjoying plenty of industry training.
The contractor has been established for over 100 years and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly, supportive team. Long term, you'll benefit from progression and training.
Your role as a Quantity Surveyor will include:
* Prepare monthly valuations and agree final accounts
* Carry out internal month-end procedures
* Chase up all outstanding cash balances
* Procure all materials required for contracts
* Liaise with site operatives to ensure site requirements are adhered to
* Maintain good working relationships with operatives and clients
The successful Quantity Surveyor will need:
* Experience in a Quantity Surveying role or Assistant
* Experience within a subcontractor ideally working alongside tier 1 main contractors
* Commutable to East and Central London
* Full UK working rights
