This zero tailswing machine has an operating weight of 1235 kg and the longest undercarriage in its class at 1440 mm. The extendable undercarriage width from 830 mm to 1000 mm gives the machine added stability.
Unlike most machines in this class, Yanmar uses variable axial piston pumps that adapt hydraulic flow and pressure to the load. It is claimed that this makes for smoother operation. The pump flow and its high working pressure also enable an improvement in working speeds and thus overall productivity, it is claimed.
This excavator differs from the SV08 model not only in weight and tail-swing but also the operating controls. There are joysticks on both sides of the seat for better control of machine movements.
