Nottingham County Council on behalf of Ashfield District Council (hereafter 'the Authority') is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified Contractor to establish a Service Contract to provide Skip Hire; supply, delivery, collection and waste disposal. The Authority’s detailed requirements are defined in the Service Specification outlined in Part 3 – Specification Document.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Authority invites you to tender for the Supply, Delivery, Collection of skips and waste disposal in relation to the activities associated with the Housing Repairs and Maintenance Departments of the Authority.
The skips supplied to the Housing Services Department will be delivered to various locations across the Ashfield District as and when deemed necessary by the Authority for the use of Ashfield District Council Tenants to dispose of general household waste.
The skips supplied to the Repairs and Maintenance Section will be located at the Northern Depot, Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield, Notts. NG17 5HB. These will be utilised to dispose of the waste generated by our operations in relation to the Repair and Maintenance of Authority owned properties.
A Waste Transfer Station is accessible during the contract period for the transfer of fly tipped and operational hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
The maximum approximate radius of the district is approximately 10 miles from the Authority’s Waste is generally consistent throughout the year, however the Authority could have periods whereby more waste is generated.
