Leakage from former hospital laundry has resulted in PCE contamination of the groundwater within the underlying Principal Aquifer. Homes England are responsible for discharging the planning condition relating to contamination and are seeking a groundwater remediation contractor to remediate the groundwater to targets agreed with the Environment Agency.
