The required Principal Inspections (PI) and General Inspections (GI) are to be carried out in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) document reference CS 450 – Inspection of Highway Structures by suitably qualified and experienced Bridge Inspection Certification Scheme (BICS) Inspectors.
