The geographical boundaries of Kent contain approximately 8,500 bus stops, 6,972 of which are formally marked by infrastructure. This contract covers the installation of QR codes at every marked bus stop within the county.
KCC is therefore seeking a supplier to produce and assemble approximately 6,500 unique plates with QR codes unique to each stop. These plates must be compatible with all existing pole types currently utilised in the Kent boundary.
