II.1.4) Short description
The University of Edinburgh wishes to establish a four year framework agreement for the provision of Painting and Decorating works. The current estimated value is 4.8 million GBP (1.2 million GBP per annum).
The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint four providers, with individual orders being allocated on a rotational basis. The work will cover all of the University of Edinburgh's estate of approximately 550 buildings in Edinburgh and Midlothian. Including the Firbush Outdoor Education Centre, Loch Tay, Killin. This includes; Medical & Veterinary Sciences, Science and Engineering, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences and Professional Services and Accommodation, Catering and Events.
The purpose of this framework agreement is to deliver a compliant, quick and efficient route to market for the University and Suppliers.
The framework agreement shall be tendered on behalf of the University of Edinburgh and all University of Edinburgh Subsidiary Companies. All of the University of Edinburgh’s Subsidiary Companies may access and utilise the framework agreement at any time during the life of the framework period.
The timeline for tendering is still to be finalised however we anticipate tendering procedures shall commence no later than August 2024 and award of framework agreement January 2024 with the framework beginning February 2025.
The route of the procurement (Open tender or Restricted tender) is still to be decided.
