The City of London Academies Trust operates 11 Academies across London and are committed to maintaining high-quality facilities that support outstanding educational environments. The Trust is tendering for their Waste Collection and Recycling services with a contract start date of 1st September 2025. The contract will run for an initial three-year term, ending on 31st August 2028, with termly and annual reviews in place. To ensure flexibility for both parties should the relationship not prosper, a break clause has been included. There is an option to extend the contract for a further two years beyond this date by mutual agreement, subject to satisfactory qualitative and financial performance.The current contract with Equans is at the end of the contract tenure and there is a good working relationship with the Trust. The Trust seeks a professional and experienced Waste Collection and Recycling contractor capable of delivering an excellent level of service throughout the year on all campuses. The projected contract turnover for the initial three-year period is expected to be circa £375,000.The School use a two stage restricted process, beginning with a Selection Questionnaire (SQ) stage followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT) stage after shortlisting.
