The HVAC Controls Programmer will be responsible for developing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems for various HVAC projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of HVAC systems, automation, and control technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to create and adjust programming for both new and existing systems, ensuring all installations meet client specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Program and configure HVAC control systems, including development of control sequences, alarms, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with project engineers, design teams, and clients to determine control requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot, test, and commission HVAC control systems on-site to ensure they operate efficiently and meet design standards.
- Optimize and fine-tune control strategies for energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system functionality and operation.
- Maintain documentation of programming changes, project progress, and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, HVAC Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with HVAC control systems software (e.g., Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens).
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Strong troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills.
