Now, with a forward thinking team behind us and a great platform, we can build on the success the Digger blog has achieved over the past two years.

I have been overwhelmed by the emails of support from industry professionals, operators/owner operators and enthusiasts from all over the world, who all wanted to know if the blog was going to continue.

The all new Digger blog will follow a similar format as before, with a large amount of interaction from our worldwide audience of readers, product reviews, trips down memory lane to look at classic plant in action, interesting video clips, machines spotted on holidays and a whole host of other topics.

What makes the blog so unique and the reason that people tell me they like it so much, is that it is actually written by someone who is “at the sharp end”, out on site, working with the machines day in day out. Someone at Caterpillar once said to me, “we like it because you are actually out there in the real world”. A glowing endorsement I thought.

I don’t and never have claimed to be an expert and as far as I am concerned everyday in life is a school day and we can all learn something new about the subject we are all so passionate about, so with that in mind, we want to hear from you the readers with your stories, advice and tips about plant & machinery.
